Advisory & Sub-Committees
A listing of current advisory bodies and sub-committees.
The Board may from time to time create one or more advisory committees to the Board of directors. These committees may consist of Board members and general members of San Francisco Pride in good standing.
Advisory Committees
Community Advisory Board
The Community Advisory Board consists of community members, stakeholders, and SF LGBTQI+ Pride members who offer advice, expertise, or assistance in helping the Board and the organization carry out its mission.
- Members are appointed by the Executive Director
- Advisory only – holds no powers within the organization
- Members may receive invitations to SF Pride events and complimentary tickets as available
Sub-Committees
Golf Committee
Produces the annual SF Pride Golf Tournament – the world's first PGA-endorsed LGBTQ+ sporting event, featured in Golf Digest. Breaking barriers in professional golf since 2019.
- Hosts golfers of all skill levels from across the Bay Area and beyond
- Presents the annual Leadership in Golf Award honoring pioneering LGBTQ+ athletes
- Raises funds supporting LGBTQ+ community programs
